This is a vital role within the TBS M&A function —a dynamic, high-impact team within Takeda Business Solutions supporting mergers, acquisition, divestitures, and other business reorganization activities across Takeda.

As an M&A Project Lead, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating global M&A and business reorganization initiatives, working closely with finance partners, cross‑functional teams, local markets, and external stakeholders.
Accelerate value & make an impact by:
Supporting divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, demergers, and asset sales
Partnering with the M&A Portfolio Lead and Finance partners to set up transactions and accounting guidance
Acting as a finance point of contact for cross‑functional stakeholders
Identifying risks, gaps, and issues during transaction execution and proactively driving resolution
Preparing and reviewing key finance deliverables, including accounting memos and transaction documentation
Participating in workshops, governance forums, and project meetings to support informed decision‑making
Coordinating implementation of end‑to‑end finance processes , and internal controls
Contributing to best practices, standardization, and continuous improvement within the TBS M&A function
Required qualifications:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in finance transformation, or business projects
Proven track record of working in cross‑functional, international environments
Strong understanding of finance processes and systems (e.g. ERP, reporting, accounting tools)
Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis and process documentation
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
Project coordination and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Clear communication and problem‑solving capabilities
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in a shared services or global business services environment
SAP knowledge
Professional certificates in project management

Base Salary Range:
zł116,000.00 - zł159,500.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
