POSITION:Special Education Teacher, Self-Contained Classroom
LOCATION: Fricano Primary School

QUALIFICATIONS:
NYS Certification:
Students with Disabilities - Birth to Grade 2 or
Students with Disabilities - All Grades
DESCRIPTION:The teacher will work in self-contained classroom setting at the primary level.
The successful candidate will have:
Knowledge and background related to NYS learning standards with a strong background in literacy and behavior management
Experience with differentiating instruction for students with diverseacademic challenges
The ability to meet students' social-emotional and academic needs
Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desire to work collaboratively as part of a team
COMPENSATION:Per the Starpoint Teachers' Association Agreement
