We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Plant Facilities team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude that can work independently as well as within a group setting to accomplish goals while being organized and detail oriented.
Work Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm (+OT as needed).
Your responsibilities will include: * Plant Facilities Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance inspections and documentation, perform safety inspections on rigging, ladders, etc., rebuild pumps and motors, lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other items as required. In addition, assist Operations with mold changes, updates, and repairs as needed. * Standards Compliance: Follow regulatory, industry, manufacturer, and company standards to ensure Operations is fully functional while utilizing proper procedures such as Lock Out Tag Out and Confined Space. * Equipment: Possess the ability to safely and properly operate basic hand and power tools. Must be able to become aerial lift and harness certified within the first year of employment.
What we are looking for in a candidate: * Age Requirement: 18-years or older * Skills: Proficient in reading and using a tape measure (tape measure test will be given in the interview to confirm), math skills, reliable and punctual with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a positive attitude. * Experience: Preferred candidates will have prior experience in the maintenance field to include welding, grinding, using a cutting torch, and setting up equipment such as drills, jigs, shears, benders, and conveyors. In addition, the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and communicate in a professional manner is required.
