Our client, a global leader in automotive manufacturing , is seeking a Global Supply Chain Group Leader to join their Manufacturing Operations team in Lockport, NY. This role is critical to daily production execution, people leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high‑volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a people‑focused leader with a strong operations mindset and experience driving performance through standardized processes and lean principles.

Pay Range:
$47.61 – $54.41 per hour (DOE)
What’s the Job?
Lead and manage personnel, materials, and equipment to meet production targets related to safety, cost, quality, and delivery.
Train, develop, coach, and evaluate hourly manufacturing employees and Group Leaders using standardized work and performance management tools.
Drive Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) processes and actively support launch, pilot, and continuous improvement activities.
Apply lean manufacturing and synchronous principles to reduce variation, control costs, and improve operational efficiency.
Promote and sustain a safe, compliant work environment , meeting objectives for health, safety, ergonomics, and housekeeping.
What’s Needed?
Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment .
Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hourly employees, union representatives, and management .
Solid understanding of quality standards , structured problem‑solving, and performance metrics.
Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop leaders and frontline employees.
