We are seeking a Carpenter. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude that can work independently as well as within a group setting to accomplish production goals while being organized and detail oriented.
Work Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm (+OT as needed).
Your responsibilities will include: * Interpreting Technical Documents: Reading and understanding blueprints, engineering drawings and sketches, and specifications to determine project requirements and plan the work. * Precision Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measuring, cutting, shaping, and smoothing materials (primarily wood, plastics, and light metals) to exact specifications using a variety of hand and power tools and woodworking machinery. * Assembly and Construction: Building and assembling components or complete molding items such as blockouts, headers, keyways, etc. using fasteners (nails, screws, adhesives) and ensuring structural integrity. * Standards Compliance: Follow industry and company standards to produce quality products using technical documentation provided. * Equipment: Possess the ability to safely and properly operate basic hand and power tools and woodworking machinery.
What we are looking for in a candidate: * Age Requirement: 18-years or older * Skills: Proficient in reading and using a tape measure (tape measure test will be given in the interview to confirm), math skills, reliable and punctual with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a positive attitude. * Experience: Preferred candidates will possess prior experience in woodworking or carpentry, either within a manufacturing or construction environment, or demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, along with the ability to communicate professionally and collaborate effectively within a team setting, is strongly desired.
