Location: Fish Lake, Utah

Located just 45 minutes from Richfield and Capitol Reef National Park, and approximately three hours from Salt Lake City and St. George, our resort offers a beautiful mountain setting and a dynamic summer employment opportunity.

Position Overview:

The General Resort Staff position is a full-time seasonal role running from mid-May through mid-September. Team members play a vital role in the daily operations of the resort, contributing to multiple departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This is a hands-on, physically active position requiring flexibility, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Many of our staff members are students, creating a positive, energetic, and team-oriented summer environment. While the work is demanding, it is also rewarding and offers the opportunity to build lasting friendships and memories.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Starting wage: $13.00 per hour
• Additional $1--$2 per hour in cash tips
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Typically five days on with two consecutive mid-week days off
• Weekends and holidays required, including Sundays
• Flexible scheduling may be available for those returning to school in the fall

Key Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning cabins, motel rooms, and restrooms
• Laundry services
• Operating cash registers and assisting customers
• Answering phones and checking guests in and out
• Working in the café taking orders, preparing and cooking food
• Scooping ice cream and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
• Restocking and organizing retail inventory
• Pricing merchandise in the general and souvenir store
• Assisting with marina operations and cleaning rental boats
• Landscaping and maintaining resort grounds
• Performing light maintenance and repair work
• Maintaining overall cleanliness and professional appearance of the resort
• Supporting other operational needs as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Frequent lifting of at least 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, and occasional snow)
• Ability to work in hot kitchen environments
• Must be capable of performing all essential job functions

Housing & Transportation:

• Housing may be available at no charge for employees 18+
• Bunkhouse-style accommodations with shared occupancy
• No family housing available
• Due to the remote location (nearest grocery store is approximately 30 minutes away), owning a vehicle is strongly encouraged but not required
• Employees are responsible for relocation expenses
