Salary from £37,560 - £46,950 per annum
Fixed Term Contract until April 2027

As Project Coordinator, you’ll support Project Managers in the safe, efficient and timely delivery of investment projects across the North Wales District. You will play a key role in coordinating project activities, managing commercial and contractual processes, maintaining accurate project records and ensuring robust governance throughout the project lifecycle.
This includes supporting the delivery of LV, 11kV and 33kV overhead and underground modernisation schemes, diversions and reinforcement programmes.
What you’ll be doing
Project & Delivery Support
Support Project Managers with day‑to‑day coordination to ensure safe, compliant and timely project delivery.
Maintain accurate project schedules, documentation, forecasts and progress reports.
Coordinate internal teams and service partners to ensure delivery aligns with SPEN standards and requirements.
Administer planned outputs through DOP and support efficient outage planning.
Commercial & Contract Coordination
Assist with NEC3/NEC4 contract administration, including payment applications, variations and early warnings.
Track project costs, maintain auditable records and support financial forecasting.
Work with service partners to ensure performance and compliance.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
Build effective working relationships with internal teams, service partners and external stakeholders.
Support Project Managers in meetings and communications, ensuring clear and professional engagement.
Maintain a customer‑focused approach across all project activities.
Safety & Compliance
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all activities comply with legislation and SPEN standards.
What you’ll bring
Essential

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer service, cost efficiency and delivery performance.
Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and apply sound engineering and financial judgement.
Strong problem‑solving capability.
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
Utility sector experience.
NEC3/ NEC4 Contract experience
Understanding of network design principles.
SAP experience (training provided).
Planning & Organising
Plan and prioritise daily workload to support project and team objectives.
Contribute to medium‑ and long‑term delivery planning (3 months to 3 years).
Make balanced decisions using available information and consult with others where appropriate.
Minimum Criteria
Engineering/Professional qualification or equivalent experience
Computer literacy
