As a Sales Representative for Endoscopy and Surgical Innovations, you will be responsible for achieving defined sales targets while developing deep product expertise through ongoing training. You will build and maintain a robust network of accounts to expand the adoption of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring solutions, in line with current and future disease-management guidelines. In this role, you will also gather market intelligence and actively monitor, track, and report on competitor activities.

The territory for this position includes the following countries for Endoscopy portfolio: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania and Malta while Surgical Innovations scope is related only to Slovenia.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide technical and clinical support to physicians according to SBU and therapy requirements.

  • Develop and strengthen referral networks between implanting centres and referring physicians to enhance brand compliance.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and referring physicians to position Medtronic as the preferred partner.

  • Educate physicians on clinical evidence, Medtronic products, therapies, and services to improve patient outcomes and foster brand loyalty.

  • Lead regional training activities, including peer‑to‑peer sessions, implant‑procedure interest generation, and speaker development within the region.

  • Accurately report account, market, competitive, and activity information, ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks and immediate escalation of product or customer issues.

  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager on planned activities and attend all required regional and national meetings.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ability to work effectively with sales teams, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.

  • Strong account management skills with a customer‑focused and consultative selling approach.

  • Solid negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English and the local language, both written and spoken.

  • High computer literacy and possession of a valid clean driving license.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields is preferred, along with willingness to work in and learn about the medical devices or healthcare environment, sales experience, practical experience in the surgical operating room (OR), proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment, and advanced product knowledge.
