Rate: $36.75 JOB SUMMARY
The primary duties of the Speech Therapist are to test and measure those patients with speech, language, cognitive, hearing, and/or swallowing impairments.
As prescribed by a referring physician, the Speech Therapist evaluates, establishes a treatment plan, and treats the patients.
The Speech Therapist is mindful of the diagnosis and considers all precautions, indications and contraindications of care.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
M..A. or M. S. in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from and accredited graduate program.
Certification awarded by the American Speech Language Hearing Association
Previous experience in acute care and swallow disorders is preferred but entry-level positions are also available.
Membership or eligibility for membership in the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
