The Senior Composites Engineer will provide engineering and program management support for the Advanced Composites department. The role will ensure quality products are produced that meet or exceed customer expectations while ensuring program objectives are met within the budget and scope of the program. The role will support department leadership with quoting and estimating tasks while also coaching junior composite engineers. The Senior Composites Engineer will provide technical support to the production of quality composite products.
Responsibilities:
Provide engineering and program management for multiple composite programs for multiple customers.
Work with design team to provide detailed production specifications for composite products.
Support more complex and challenging programs from inception to delivery.
Develop work instructions, tooling plans, manufacturing aids and overall composite manufacturing process.
Support sales efforts by providing quotes and estimates.
Develop composite material solutions.
Manage business aspects of multiple concurrent programs and ensure financial targets and timing are met while maintaining established quality standards.
Manage, lead, train, coach, and mentor program team(s) related to their job responsibilities. Plan, schedule, and oversee project manager activities and monitor program(s) status.
