We are looking for a Powertrain Calibration Intern to join our powertrain calibration and integration team for the Summer of 2026. The Intern will work within a small team of engineers and be challenged to calibrate, test, and integrate gasoline, and diesel powertrain packages on dynamometers and in vehicles. The Intern will also support testing and validation of many powertrain components. This position is a paid internship and is located in Allen Park and Livonia, MI. Candidates must be available for Summer for 2026. Watch this short video to learn more about working at Roush! As a Powertrain Calibration Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Aiding in dynamometer and vehicle-based calibration and integration for Internal Combustion Engines (ICE)
- Supporting vehicle testing including drivability, emissions, and durability
- Analyzing, interpreting, and presenting test data
- Supporting hot, cold, and high-altitude development testing
- Assisting in test bench and control system development
- Supporting prototype wiring harness design and manufacturing
To be considered as a Powertrain Calibration Intern, you will need:
Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering
