ManpowerGroup Forklift Operator in Livonia, Michigan
Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting inventory management and product handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Livonia, MI
Pay Range: $18.50
Shift: 09:30 AM - 06:00 PM Monday-Friday
What's the Job?
Operate powered equipment such as sit down forklifts and clamp trucks to move, locate, and stack products
Check inbound and outbound products for damage, infestation, and proper labeling
Ensure products match customer requirements and are accurately recorded
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and equipment
Assist with physical inventories and perform daily equipment inspections
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Forklift operator certification or completion of a training program within 30 days of employment
Six months of warehouse experience and forklift operation experience is desirable
Ability to operate powered material handling equipment for 80% of the shift
Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety procedures
