Overview: Town of Rockland is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Parks and Recreation Maintenance Worker in Livingston Manor, NY (and around Town of Rockland)
The Parks and Recreation Maintenance Worker are responsible for grounds maintenance on the Golf Course, Cemeteries, and Municipal Parks and grounds in the Town of Rockland. for This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving park grounds, facilities, and recreational areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal, including landscaping work and trash removal Equipment Maintenance is also the responsibility of this position. This position works under the direction from the Parks Maintenance Supervisor Report any major damages or repairs needed to supervisors Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines
Skills needed to perform the job: Mow grass, push mow and riding mowers Raking and removal of leaf and other trash, and upkeep of same Able to push, pull, and carry
Requirements: Valid Driver's License Must be able to push, pull, and carry. Able to handle different outdoor temperatures and weather.
Shift and Salary; This position is a Part-time Seasonal position, Monday - Sunday, 20 hours weekly, $18.00 hourly
