Job Description:
Waste Water
Operator will be responsible for ensuring proper operation of the wastewater plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plant operations, water testing, data recording, and computer skills

Operator will be alert to conditions at all times
Record operations in log and communicate with supervisor and others for operations
Be flexible on working hours and adaptable to changes if needed for plant operations
New hires will have to demonstrate the ability and desire to obtain a state certification
Qualifications:
Communicate effectively, oral and written
Mathematical skills
Understand safety rules and instruction
Capable of lifting or carrying 50 lbs
Walking up and down stairs
Working in confined areas
Ability to wear a respirator
Handling potentially hazardous water treatment and laboratory chemicals
Minimum exposure to inclement weather
Be able to get PIT and Yard Truck
Must have a valid driver license to operate company vehicles
- Must be certified in water or wastewater or ability to obtain certification
