Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING
In C4ISR, we harness advanced technologies to deliver and maintain mission-relevant capabilities for our customers. We utilize a range of innovative tools and methodologies and support a 'Family of Programs'.
THE WORK
In this important role you will:
• Manage a team of Project Engineers and CAMs
• Coordinating direct employee recruitment & selection
• Assisting in employee mentorship and training, performance discussions and recognition
• Cultivating and growing the Project Engineering organization
• Interfacing w/ Program Management, CAMs, Functional Leads, other discipline leaders, and customers over priorities, milestones and deliveries
Along with management duties, the candidate will have a technical role on the program as a Project Engineer utilizing their experience to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team through development activities related to ground systems. The preferred candidate should have prior experience with cost, schedule, and technical management of complex systems.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications:
Experience developing and executing complex hardware and software development program and project plans.
Possess excellent customer relationship management skills to include outreach and communications experience.
Previous proposal or Basis-of-Estimates writing/reviewing experience.
Understanding of System, Software, Test, and Hardware Engineering processes.
Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
Previous Risk & Opportunity Management responsibility.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, and extensive experience in the field.
12+ Years of Development Programs Engineering experience.
Desired Skills:
• Complete Program Lifecycle - Experience on Development and Sustainment programs
• Experience in Support of Large, Complex Development Programs
• Experience Supporting Multiple Development and/or Operating Sites
• Experience Leading teams and mentoring other employees
• Knowledge, experience, and current active program clearance on one or more C2 Ground programs

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
