Responsibilities
- Comply with all information technology training and data privacy
- Properly collect client information/daily tracking
- Be able to maintain additional reporting as needed to ensure data clarity
- Respond to interpersonal situations and attempts to de-escalate crises before they arise
- Ensure compliance with all shelter and program guidelines
- Provide support, encouragement, and accountability to guests
- Submit a written report in a timely manner
- Submit daily program report to supervisor documenting activities
- Provide prayer support as needed or requested
- Perform random/routine checks of dorms, residents and belongings upon entrance and/or exit of property
- Keep a constant check of cleanliness of property and report any problems or safety issues
- Conduct incremental rounds for fire and security purposes
- Attend all required meetings
- Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of the management
Experience
- Supervising experience in social services, residential programs, or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to handle crisis situations with calmness and professionalism through crisis intervention skills.
- Experience working with children in childcare or home & community care environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of security procedures and experience in conflict management or behavioral health support is desirable.
- Familiarity with intake processes, case management practices, data entry systems, and medication administration protocols.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Prior experience in addiction counseling
