Tri-State Bobcat Receptionist in Little Canada, Minnesota

Job Duties

Compensation: $21–$24 per hour

Location: Little Canada, MN

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm

Tri-State Bobcat is a trusted provider of compact construction equipment, parts, and service. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming experience while supporting daily administrative, sales, and service operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers, vendors, and visitors; serve as the first point of contact

Manage a multi-line phone system, route calls appropriately, and take accurate messages

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk, lobby, showroom, and breakroom

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries

Provide general administrative support to sales, service, and management teams

Set up new customers and maintain accurate customer files and records

Prepare, type, and process work orders for final technician review

Perform daily credit card reconciliation and assist with sales-related documentation

Order and maintain office supplies, catalogs, and sales materials

Send emails, faxes, and other internal or external communications as requested

Maintain organized filing systems and support interdepartmental communication and coordination

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role

High school diploma or equivalent required

Valid driver's license

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
