Position Purpose
TAIT is seeking a Salesforce Analyst to act as a key intermediary between business stakeholders and
technical delivery teams. This role is responsible for translating business needs into clear, actionable
requirements that support Salesforce configuration, enhancements, and integrations, as well as downstream analytics and reporting in Power BI.
The Salesforce Analyst will work across multiple business functions to define scope, manage demand, support solution delivery, and ensure that Salesforce workflows, configuration, and reporting solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and reporting requirements related to Salesforce
Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to understand business processes, pain points, data needs, and desired outcomes Translate business needs into:
Functional requirements
User stories and acceptance criteria
Process flows and data definitions
Clearly define scope, assumptions, dependencies, and success criteria for Salesforce initiatives and enhancements
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date requirements documentation aligned with Salesforce standards and TAIT governance practices
Salesforce Build & Run Support
Prepare detailed hand-off documentation for Salesforce build and run teams, including:
Configuration requirements (objects, fields, validation rules, flows, page layouts, permissions)
Workflow and automation logic (Flows, approvals, triggers where applicable)
Data model impacts and field-level details
Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Architects to ensure requirements are understood and feasible
Support release planning by clarifying requirements, priorities, and dependencies
Test and validate Salesforce configuration, workflows, and automation against defined acceptance criteria
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, and issue resolution
Analytics & Power BI Enablement
Act as the primary liaison between business teams and Power BI developers for Salesforce-based analytics
Produce clear technical hand-off documentation for analytics teams, including:
Data sources, objects, and field mappings
Business logic, calculations, and KPIs
Filtering, security, and data refresh requirements
Validate Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business expectations
Ensure consistency between Salesforce configuration and downstream analytics outputs
Demand & Prioritization Management
Intake and assess Salesforce-related requests from multiple business teams
Support prioritization of requests based on business value, urgency, effort, and platform impact
Maintain visibility into the Salesforce backlog, request status, and delivery timeline
Communicate priorities, progress, blockers, and risks to stakeholders and leadership Data Quality & Governance
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of TAIT’s Salesforce data model and reporting architecture
Identify data quality issues, gaps, or inconsistencies impacting workflows or reporting
Work with platform and business teams to resolve data-related issues and improve data governance Minimum Qualifications
High School GED or Diploma
4+ years of experience in a Salesforce Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
Strong experience documenting business and functional requirements for Salesforce platforms
Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce configuration concepts (objects, fields, flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards)
Experience supporting analytics or BI tools, preferably Power BI
Strong understanding of business processes, data structures, and KPIs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder)
Experience working in complex, multi-functional or global organizations
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
Experience supporting Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, or Professional Services use cases
