Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team as a 1st Shift Saw Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating horizontal bandsaws and aluminum cutting industrial saws, which include both down cut and upcut mechanisms. Some saws are numeric controlled with features such as automatic pusher, feed, and indexing. As a saw operator, you will handle all machinery and be responsible for pulling materials and setting up the saws.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain horizontal bandsaws and aluminum cutting saws.
Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise cuts.
Identify and handle various materials for cutting.
Clock hours accurately using MES software.
Issue materials accurately and maintain records.
Perform quality control using standard instrumentation like tape measures and occasionally a 6-inch caliper.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Experience in operating and setting up a variety of band saws.
Familiarity with quality control tools such as tape measures and calipers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a construction or concrete history is advantageous.
Saw operating experience is preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing setting where we specialize in designing, constructing, and delivering live entertainment equipment. As a leading company with over 600 employees, we create complex and customized touring stages and theater automation. Due to the nature of our work, we frequently work within tight deadlines. This role is on the 2nd Shift from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with the expectation of working overtime, potentially totaling over 50 hours a week. This is a contract role expected to last approximately three months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lititz, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
