Position Purpose

Label Designers work alongside Designers, Integrators, and Project Managers to produce clear and intuitive labeling schemes for all TAIT products. The role offers the opportunity to combine graphic design, CAD drafting, and label production skills in support of a diverse range of global projects. The Label Designers primarily support Concert Touring projects, with secondary support for manufacturing operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operation of vinyl printers and laser engravers preferred.

  • Print, overlay, and cut labels for finished products.

  • Interpret design drawings, truck packs, and label requests to determine appropriate solutions.

  • Analyze designs and resolve issues related to labelling for Elements within Shows.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing work correctly on first attempt.

  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

  • Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required

  • Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associated Degree in Graphic Design or Creative Design.

  • 2+ years in Graphic Design, Printing, Labelling or similar preferred.

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD preferred

While the role does not require regular lifting or physical exertion, there may be occasional onboarding programs or training opportunities that create opportunities for more exposure to physical tasks or new environments (sites, venues, etc.)

Work conditions of the role are:

  • Work conditions may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.

  • Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required. This includes, safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, safety toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location.
