Position Description:
Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Sports Medicine is searching for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team!
Our Sports Medicine team provides complete surgical and non-surgical care for a wide range of conditions and injuries to bone, muscle, and other soft tissues, along with concussion management, nutrition counseling, and screening for cardiac issues in athletes. Our practice locations are equipped with musculoskeletal ultrasound, diagnostic imaging, and physical therapy on-site, convenient for patients and providers alike.
Hours: Fulltime; dayshift with 1 evening shift per week until 8:00pm. On call requirement (1 week every 11 weeks).
Position Requirements:
Physician Assistant
Current Licensure as a Physician Assistant by the Pennsylvania Board of Medicine
Valid, unrestricted Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number
Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program
Minimum one-year experience as a Physician Assistant in a musculoskeletal practice is preferred
Nurse Practitioner
Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania
Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required.
Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse
Minimum one-year experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a musculoskeletal practice is preferred
