International Senior Manager, Marketing Process & Operations Management in Lisle, Illinois

Position Overview

Aligned with the International Way of Working, and Leader in Every seat principle, this Individual contributor role is critical in owning and enabling our end-to-end Marketing work management. This role ensures standardized, scalable, planned and automated ways of working across the Marketing team, agency partner ecosystem, and cross-functional stakeholders. The role is responsible not only for day-to-day operational excellence, but also for driving sustained adoption, governance, and continuous innovation – expanding Adobe Workfront use cases for Marketing to improve speed-to-market, transparency, and efficiency across the Marketing value chain.

• The Individual in this role demonstrates process & operational excellence, by serving, as the planner for the Vice President of Marketing, by designing, enabling and supporting key senior/executive forums across the Commercial function and broader Enterprise, where Marketing has a role/presence. This individual plays a vital role in effectively promoting Marketing and ensuring it is accurately and strategically positioned to function as the Brand-to-Demand engine within the Commercial organization.

What would success in this role look like?

• Adobe Workfront is fully embedded as the default way of working across International Marketing Operating Model (Internal team + agency partners). • Marketing workflows are standardized, automated, and scalable across teams and agencies. • Adoption is high, manual work is reduced, and marketing teams spend more time on strategy and impact. • Leadership has clear visibility into work, priorities, and performance through consistent reporting.• Marketing is strategically positioned as a critical enabler of Commercial wins in the marketplace, through consistent & structured communication across forums (Townhalls, Leadership meetings etc.)

Responsibilities

Marketing Workflow Ownership (Adobe Workfront use cases for Marketing)

• Own current state implementation of Adobe Workfront with MVP (Minimum Viable Product) use cases, and backlog for all marketing needs. Prioritization and delivery of backlog will be the responsibility of this Individual, in close collaboration with IT & Adobe Product Owner resources. • Define, implement and maintain ongoing improvements in marketing workflow frameworks, templates, and governance models that support demand, sales enablement, and brand operations use cases. • Serve as the primary liaison from Marketing for discussions on interdependency and interlock with Adobe Workfront, as it relates to the broader Adobe ecosystem implementation (AEM Sites, Analytics, Journey Optimizer, CDP etc.)• Continuously identify, design, and pilot new Workfront use cases to further automate and streamline marketing workflows across agency partners, and functions. • Expand automation across campaign intake, asset development, proofing, approvals, and integration with adjacent Adobe tools (e.g. AEM/DAM) where applicable. • Partner with stakeholders (both internal and external) to eliminate manual processes, reduce cycle times, and improve transparency and accountability.

Adoption, Change Management & Enablement

• Lead Marketing Collaboration Board and enable Workfront Reporting & Dashboard as the mechanism to discuss new, in-flight, at-risk projects and highlight wins & opportunities.• Lead change management, training, and enablement efforts to ensure consistent and effective use of workflows, approvals, and collaboration tools.• Monitor and communicate adoption metrics, user behavior, and workflow effectiveness; proactively identify gaps and implement improvements.

Operational Governance, Cross-functional & Agency collaboration & Reporting

• Define & enforce workflow governance, role clarity, and approval structures within Workfront.• Deliver regular reporting and insights on workflow performance, throughput, bottlenecks, and capacity to Marketing leadership.• Ensure auditability, version control, and compliance through standardized workflows and automated approvals.• Establish clear ways of working for agency partners within Workfront, including intake, briefing, reviews and approvals.

Planner/Chief of Staff Operations

• Publish quarterly content calendar for key forums such as Marketing All-Hands, Monthly Sales/Marketing connect, CLM, Joint Staff Commercial/Service Solutions etc. on behalf of Marketing Leadership team. • Own coordination & delivery of final slides (content/material) across key forums where Marketing leadership is presenting. • Attend MLT (Marketing Leadership Team) meetings and other key forums/meetings to be able to serve as the SME on behalf of the leadership team as/when required. • Collaborate & communicate closely with Chief of Staff from other cross-functional areas (Sales, Service Solutions, Commercial etc.)

Qualifications & Experience• 10+ years of experience in Process & Change Management, Marketing Operations, or PMO.• Familiarity with Marketing Technology like Adobe (or comparable enterprise platforms)• Proven track record driving change management and platform adoption across large, matrixed organizations.• Excellent planning & content creation skills specifically for Senior/Executive leader audience. • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and agency partners in complex marketing ecosystems.• Strong process design, operational rigor, and continuous measurement & optimization mindset.• Proven track record of applying analytical skillsets to measure & improve Workflow performance & Business outcomes. • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate strategy into scalable execution.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of project/program management experience

  • At least 2 years of lead experience

OR

  • Master's degree and at least 5 years of project/program management experience

  • At least 2 years of lead experience

OR

  • At least 12 years of project/program management experience

  • At least 2 years of lead experience
