What you will do
As a Specialist Software Engineer - Full Stack & AI you’ll work at the intersection of science, data, and innovation. You’ll collaborate with world-class experts across domains to build high-impact digital solutions that accelerate research, streamline operations, and empower better patient outcomes.
The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet business needs and ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions and automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy applications that utilize LLMs like OpenAI GPT
Possesses strong rapid prototyping skills and can quickly translate concepts into working code
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Take ownership of complex software projects from conception to deployment. Manage software delivery scope, risk, and timeline
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to discuss requirements, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives, while effectively communicating any technical limitations or constraints.
Contribute to both front-end and back-end development using cloud technology.
Develop innovative solution using generative AI technologies
Define and implement robust software architectures on the cloud, AWS preferred
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Create and maintain documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations.
Identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements
Work closely with product team, business team, and other stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree with 4 - 6 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
Bachelor’s degree with 6 - 8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
Diploma with 10 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
Hands on experience with various cloud services, understand pros and cons of various cloud service in well architected cloud design principles
Hands on experience with Full Stack software development. Proficient in programming language React and Python (preferred), other JavaScript frameworks, C#, SQL/NoSQL, etc.
Strong problem solving, analytical skills; Ability to learn quickly; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experienced with API integration, serverless, microservices architecture.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience in SQL/NOSQL database, vector database for large language models
Experience with popular large language models
Experience with Langchain or llamaIndex framework for language models
Experience with prompt engineering, model fine tuning
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
High degree of initiative and self-motivation
Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals
Strong presentation and public speaking skill
