You ensure that customer plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target.
How you will contribute
You will:
Leads the development of the trade marketing part of the category annual plans (contract process)
Understands market dynamics / consumer insights by channel to participate on trade marketing strategic decisions
Leads the business planning meeting where the sales quotas are built in order to accomplish the annual plans based on relevant building blocks
Suggests and influences investment in category building blocks, according to category and channel need, and is accountable of execution excellence at point of sale
Follows up the competition’s commercial activity in the category in order to detect business opportunities and potential threats for the brand

What you need to know about this position:
Reporting to the Head of Customer Activation in PT . You will be responsible for Trade Marketing Strategy for all Market (Modern & Traditional Trade) for Confectionary Categories: Chocolate & Candy. Create ad-hoc business initiatives for retailers, develop and follow-up several initiatives in the Point of Sales to boost Innovation and brings growth in Confectionary Categories.
Moreover, a strategic thinking is important because in certain situations you will need to influence different areas in which you will have to demonstrate your capacity to balance short term/long term business decision making, conflict management and capacity to communicate and influence upon very different profiles such as Sales Teams, Category Managers and Other departments.
Define strategy & plans in POS of Chocolates Brands & Candy: Milka, Toblerone, Cadbury, Cote D’Or and Halls;
Execute Customer Activation Plan for each client with sales & category Planning teams, according with the objectives of Confectionary.
Develop all materials to support Marketing plans and develop Confectionary Categories in both Channels: Modern Trade & Tradition Trade.
Implement degustation and sampling in the stores specially in big events: Milka & Christmas.
Execute projects with clients; special secondary expositions, new kind of activations to improve shopper experience.
Define new planograms according with MSL updates for clients to influence the growth of Confectionary.
Analysis performance in clients of client’s projects
Control Trade Marketing A&C of Chocolates & Candy
Proactive Interactions with several departments specially with Category Planning, Marketing and Sales team
Know and understand the in-store trends and Competition to be always ahead
Active participant (presenting results, energizing people, etc) during the Sales Meetings.
