Job Description
CMC Rebar is seeking a Steel Bender / Rebar Bender to support fabrication operations involving large-scale reinforcing steel. This position requires hands-on experience bending and shaping rebar, including material up to 60 feet long with varying diameters. The role is critical to maintaining production quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Bend and shape rebar according to specifications and blueprints
Handle rebar up to 60 feet in length with varying sizes
Operate rebar bending and cutting machines
Measure, inspect, and verify accuracy of completed bends
Maintain a safe and organized work area
Collaborate with production and yard teams to meet deadlines

Skills and Requirements
Prior experience bending or fabricating rebar or structural steel
Ability to read basic blueprints or bending schedules
Experience working with heavy materials in an industrial setting
Strong attention to detail and safety Experience in high-volume rebar fabrication environments
Familiarity with automated bending equipment
