What You'll Do
Review project proposal and plan to determine time frame, funding margins, and procedures
Ensure direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects from initial budget through project closeout, managing costs, and maximizing profitability
Resolve daily issues that may arise effectively to ensure a timely, safe, and profitable project
Resolve all conflicts and misunderstandings in the contract and specification
Review constructability constraints by identifying value engineering opportunities
Prepare project reports for management and customers
Prepare and collect change orders and ensure work is delegated appropriately
What You'll Need
Ability to read and understand contract documents and drawing
Solid understanding of project costs/cost control with strong financial and business acumen
Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills.
Proficient in MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Rebar, concrete, or general contracting experience, highly preferred
Your Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
