Position Summary
The Ocean Transport Monitoring Specialist oversees end‑to‑end ocean shipment performance, ensuring timely, efficient, and visible stock delivery by continuously monitoring transport milestones, optimizing the use of shipment management systems, and partnering closely with Markets, suppliers, shippers, carriers, and Global Logistics Procurement to proactively resolve issues and drive service excellence.

Manage the team in enhancing the transport monitoring (Track & Trace) process
Ensure timely resolution of exceptions throughout ocean transport
Safeguard data accuracy in the Ocean Platform and Dashboard to maintain full visibility for Markets
Coordinate loading dates with the export team and track containers from loading point to POL
Monitor shipments for deviations, update ETAs when required, and inform Markets accordingly
Manage arrival notices, follow‑up on empty container returns, and handle COD (change of destination) requests when needed
Oversee platform performance against SLAs while ensuring business continuity
Support operational tasks, conduct health checks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
What will make you successful
Technical university degree
5 years’ experience in freight forwarding or shipping lines (import/export)
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of physical logistics
Supply Chain project management experience
Experience working with providers
Advanced English (Spanish is a plus)
Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, etc.)
