Job Description
Position Summary:
Leads a team of employees and communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team. Motivates team members and assesses performance. Provides help to management, including training, and keeps management updated on team performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in delegating goals and expectations to line leaders for product production
Verify machine and equipment set up as necessary — resolve differences
Read, act on, and/or respond to production documents through computer access or other communication form, electronic or manual
Oversee 10-35 or more team members and is in constant communication with supervisor
Document and follow-up with performance issues
Log and document information on various department forms as required by leadership
Receive and verify parts for assembly process according to order, resolve issues
Assemble on the assembly line as needed
Consult and work with other team members and leaders to problem solve
Attend all daily production meetings
Train new employees as necessary
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Supervisory Responsibility
Supervise 10-35 assembly employees
Qualifications and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous assembly experience in department required
Expert knowledge of assembly process and ability to assemble all valves
Ability to lead a team of departmental co-workers
Intermediate reading and writing skills in English

Salary and Benefits:
The hourly range for the position is $20.00 - $28.00/hour. The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
