Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a notable global animal health company known for developing innovative vaccines, medicines, and diagnostic solutions that support the health and wellbeing of livestock and companion animals worldwide.
We are seeking a QC Laboratory Technician to support quality control and microbiology laboratory operations. This role plays an important part in maintaining laboratory readiness, preparing materials for testing, supporting environmental monitoring, and assisting with biological testing activities that support manufacturing and product release.
Pay: 22/hr
Duration : 1 year to start
Position Summary
The Laboratory Technician will support routine laboratory operations including glassware preparation, sterilization, media preparation, environmental monitoring, and biological testing activities. This individual will work closely with quality and manufacturing teams while following established GLP, GMP, and regulatory procedures to help ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine glassware preparation, washing, and sterilization in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Operate autoclaves and washers to sterilize laboratory materials and decontaminate equipment
Coordinate the collection, cleaning, and distribution of laboratory glassware and equipment across laboratory groups
Prepare aseptic and non-aseptic media used in quality control testing
Conduct Environmental Monitoring within manufacturing and production areas
Perform sterility testing, water sample testing, moisture analysis, and other biological assays as required
Follow established GLP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines while performing laboratory tasks
Apply aseptic techniques when preparing materials and conducting testing procedures
Monitor laboratory processes and notify supervisory personnel of potential quality concerns
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with laboratory procedures and batch records
Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and preparation of equipment for laboratory use
Support compliance with regulatory requirements such as USDA, FDA, and EU standards
Qualifications
Required
Associate’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
1–2 years of relevant laboratory experience
Basic understanding of aseptic technique and microbiology principles
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
Experience working in aseptic manufacturing or microbiology laboratory environments
Familiarity with laboratory systems such as MODA, SAP, LIMS, or similar software
Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Windows-based applications
Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
