ManpowerGroup Controls Technician in Lincoln, New Hampshire
Our client, an industry leader in electrical and automation solutions, is seeking a Controls Technician to join their team. As a Controls Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team supporting automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Automation Controls Technician
Location: Lincoln, NH
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday - Friday
What's the Job?
Assist in building, wiring, and testing custom automation equipment based on engineering designs.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to interpret models, drawings, and specifications.
Manage project organization, including material intake and workspace cleanliness.
Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances during assembly and setup.
Set up, troubleshoot, and repair automation electronics such as sensors and VFDs.
What's Needed?
Five or more years of experience in a mechanic, manufacturing, or machinist environment, or equivalent training.
Hands-on skills in repairing equipment, machining, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
Experience with setting up and operating machine tools like lathes, mills, and welding equipment.
Willingness to attend training to expand knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC/robotic programming.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and models, such as those created in SolidWorks.
