Job Title: Structures Mechanic Job Description

Join our team as a Structures Mechanic, where you will perform various structures and sheet metal work, including modifications and repairs on a variety of corporate airframes. You will utilize proper hand tools to ensure tasks are completed in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner, with no need for rework. Additionally, you will accurately order general aircraft parts as needed and prepare various documents for record-keeping purposes in compliance with company policy and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structures and sheet metal work on corporate airframes, including Bombardier, Falcons, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon.

  • Utilize proper hand tools to complete tasks in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner.

  • Accurately order general aircraft parts as needed.

  • Prepare documents for record-keeping purposes as required by company policy and FAA regulations.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives compliance statements.

  • Complete final inspection and closing of squawks and work orders.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of structures experience.

  • Proficiency in sheet metal and structures mechanics.

  • Experience with corporate or business jets is highly sought after.

  • A&P license is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Turbo Prop, Piston Engine, Fixed Wing, Falcon, Gulfstream, Cessna, and Piper is beneficial.

  • Candidates with 2 years of military experience will be considered.

Work Environment

Work inside a temperature-controlled hangar with heated floors during winter. Choose from different shifts: 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), or a weekend shift of three 12-hour days (Friday-Sunday) with a 10% shift differential. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LINCOLN, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
