The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing routine laboratory testing,\ monitoring food safety controls, and supporting production teams to ensure all products meet\ company and regulatory quality standards. This role plays a key part in verifying compliance\ with HACCP, GMP, and internal quality programs while maintaining accurate, realtime\ documentation through an ERP system. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, analytical, and\ committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment in a fast paced food\ manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:\ Perform routine lab tests on raw potatoes, oil, seasoning, and finished chips (e.g.,\ moisture, oil and salt content)\ Monitor critical control points and verify compliance with HACCP and GMP standards\ Record and analyze test results using ERP software to ensure real-time quality tracking\ Conduct sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies\ Calibrate and maintain lab equipment according to SOPs\ Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality deviations\ Support production teams with on-the-floor quality checks and feedback\ Prepare samples for third-party testing and regulatory audits\ Maintain lab cleanliness and safety protocols\ Generate daily quality reports and communicate findings to QA Manager\ Ensure all tasks are performed safely according to safety protocols\ Perform other duties as necessary or requested
