How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The Station Manager is responsible for the overall administration, operation and safety of the station in conformance with all civil laws and regulations as well as approved company policies and procedures. In addition, he/she is responsible for the activities, administration and personnel within the various departments at the LIM airport.
Responsibilities:
Performsa variety of general administrative and training activities. These include butare not limited to: supervises, motivates and trains all ACS personnel so theybecome productive members of the Delta Team.
Ensuresemployee awareness and enforcement of published company policies and proceduresas they relate to ACS and ensures compliance with labor law as it applies topersonnel and the requirements needed to implement them.
Effectivelyinteracts with and utilizes the service of numerous support departments inDelta's regional office and the Atlanta General offices, as well as interactswith authorities related to international requirements.
Supportsynergies initiatives with our business partner, Latam.
Ensuresthat all ACS manuals, tariffs and all equipment are properly maintained.Recommending personnel complement changes and approving shift coverage for allfunctions under his/her supervision.
Maintainsappropriate safety measures and reports any changes in airport customer servicerequirements for aviation and automotive fuels, lubricants, fuel equipment andfuel facilities.
Mustcomply with all local airport regulations, contracts and agreements.
Additional tasks may be assigned based on operation or business needs.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Musthave current work authorization to live and work in Peru at the time ofapplication. DELTA DOES NOT SPONSOR.
Mustbe fluent in both English and Spanish.
Musthave a minimum of 5 years of experience in people management position.
Mustembrace continuous improvement
Shouldbe highly motivated and very customer service-oriented (both internal andexternal customers)
Musthave demonstrated skills and abilities to communicate effectively at all levelsof the organization (frontline to executives), JV partner, business partnersand government offices
Shouldbe a demonstrated self-starter who is action-oriented and proven as capable tomanage a complex and diverse day-to-day operation and workforce
Muststep up to conflicts and be skilled at finding common ground in order to obtaincooperation from others
Mustbe able to anticipate roadblocks and plan appropriately to mitigate risks
Mustpossess excellent critical thinking and decision quality abilities
Mustbe performing satisfactorily in current position
Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
Embracesdiverse people, thinking, and styles
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
· Working knowledge of Delta computer systems, operational policies and procedures.
• Experience working in international or multicultural operational environments.
