IBM Delivery Project Executive in Lima, Peru

Your role and responsibilities

As a Delivery Manager: Cybersecurity, you will oversee the organization, administration, and supervision of consulting resources, business operation processes, and technologies required for successful and high-quality consulting engagement service delivery to clients. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that high-quality Cybersecurity Services are consistently delivered to clients, meeting their expectations and customer satisfaction measurements. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Lead and oversee complex executive-level cybersecurity (SOC) programs within the banking and financial industry in Peru.

Hold end-to-end responsibility for managed security services, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments, SLAs, and service levels, aligned with Grupo Credicorp’s business needs.

Drive continuous service improvement, focusing on efficiency, quality, and long-term value delivery.

*

Manage executive, tactical, and operational communications with both client stakeholders and IBM leadership.

*

Lead and chair executive governance committees for the account.

*

Direct and manage IBM security services and delivery organizations to achieve agreed service outcomes.

*

Act as the primary escalation point for service delivery issues, including contractual gaps, resource constraints, and scheduling risks.

*

Manage relationships with process owners, subject matter experts, and executive stakeholders on the client side.

*

Oversee service quality, track performance metrics, and report service level results to stakeholders.

*

Supervise and continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of security capabilities, ensuring strong coordination between delivery, support, and commercial teams.

*

Oversee account operations, including scope management, delivery timelines, financial objectives, contract changes, and resource planning.

*

Provide thought leadership, industry best practices, and strategic guidance to Grupo Credicorp.

*

Ensure optimal resource allocation, including IBM employees, contractors, and subcontractors.

*

Identify efficiencies and synergies across in-scope services to maximize value and operational effectiveness.

Required technical and professional expertise

*

7+ years of experience leading complex, executive-level cybersecurity programs, preferably SOC services, within the banking or financial sector in Peru.

*

Proven experience managing large-scale managed security services and executive client relationships.

*

Strong expertise in service delivery governance, SLA/SLO/KPI management, and contractual compliance.

*

Demonstrated ability to lead executive communications and governance forums.

*

Strong leadership experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff and external partners.

*

Experience overseeing financial management, contract changes, and scope negotiations.

*

Excellent stakeholder management, escalation handling, and conflict resolution skills.

*

Strong strategic mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation.

*

Ability to operate effectively at executive, tactical, and operational levels.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Cybersecurity Services Knowledge: Deep understanding of cybersecurity services, including threat management, incident response, and security consulting.

• Contract Negotiation Skills: Experience with contract negotiation, including terms and conditions, pricing, and scope of work.

• Financial Management Tools: Familiarity with financial management tools and systems, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
