Job Description

Permanent Highway Maintenance Worker 1 (HMW1) or Highway Technician 1 (HT1), Allen County: PN 20050733

The selected candidate will be placed in the classification

?in which they meet minimum qualifications. 

*What You Will Do: *

·    You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer. 

·    You will attend training to obtain CDL licensure; if not already a licensed CDL holder.

·    You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing.

·    You will perform snow & ice operations.

Qualifications

Highway Maintenance Worker 1:

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary.  Must obtain Class B Commercial Drivers License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
