Job Description
The Operations Supervisor will oversee up to 20 employees and manage key performance indicators (KPIs). This role involves identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies using continuous improvement methods, problem-solving, and root cause analysis to enhance goals, procedures, safety, efficiency, and uptime. The supervisor will run and participate in meetings and is expected to be on the floor 80-90% of the time to learn and work alongside the team. The role requires a business owner mindset, focusing on improving culture through employee involvement. Communication with other departments such as engineering, quality, shipping, maintenance, and scheduling is essential, along with completing daily and monthly reports using Microsoft Office and identifying capital improvement projects.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
At least 5 years of supervising experience in a manufacturing setting.
Experience managing KPIs.
Continuous improvement, process improvement, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
Ability to be on the floor 80-90% of the time.
Forward progression goals, with potential to move into a plant manager role.
Ability to have difficult conversations in the moment.
Microsoft Office experience.
Open to occasional travel for training.
Work Environment
There are three openings available, one for each shift: 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10pm), and 3rd shift (10pm-6am). Employees are expected to arrive half an hour to an hour before and after their shift. This role is performed in both office and manufacturing settings, with 80-90% of the time spent on the plant floor. The manufacturing environment includes moderate to high noise levels due to machinery, varying temperatures based on outside weather conditions, and the use of personal protective equipment for safety compliance. This is a safety-sensitive position, requiring successful completion of a 10-panel drug screening.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
