Superior Wholesale Distributors Operations and Data Management Intern in Lima, Ohio
Position Overview: The Operations and Data Management Intern will support day-to-day business operations through a combination of data management, organization, and process improvement tasks. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, improving filing and storage systems, and assisting with inventory and product data updates. The intern will also contribute to operational projects, help streamline workflows, and explore the use of modern tools, including AI to enhance efficiency. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in business operations, data systems, and organizational processes within a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, sort, and maintain physical filing systems to improve document accessibility and record accuracy
- Assist with archive room and storage area clean-up, organization, and workspace efficiency projects
- Perform product data entry, including UPC and item information updates across internal systems
- Support labeling and shelf identification projects to improve warehouse and office organization
- Review, clean, and update digital data files for accuracy and consistency
- Assist with administrative and operational special projects as needed
- Explore practical uses of AI and modern software tools to improve workflows and efficiency
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail in all tasks
