Job Description
This role involves performing electrical work in an industrial construction environment, focusing on conduit installation, wire pulling, and terminations in an existing facility. You will support ongoing repair and installation projects in an older building, working safely at heights and collaborating with other electrical professionals to keep systems operating reliably.
Responsibilities
Install and run GRC (galvanized rigid conduit) and other rigid conduit systems, including cutting, bending, threading, and securely fastening conduit.
Pull electrical wiring through conduit and raceways, ensuring proper routing, organization, and identification of conductors.
Terminate I/O devices and perform PLC-related terminations, ensuring accurate and reliable connections for control systems.
Perform electrical repairs and modifications in an older industrial building where electrical contractors have historically completed repair work.
Use basic hand tools safely and effectively to complete daily electrical tasks.
Work comfortably and safely at heights and from lifts, using harnesses and other fall protection as required.
Perform temporary wiring and install temporary devices as needed to support construction and maintenance activities.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings with minimal supervision to plan and execute installations and repairs.
Complete required internal safety and online training prior to reporting to the site, including scissor lift training as applicable.
Use required mobile applications to access and complete assigned trainings, and verify completion before reporting to the jobsite.
Follow all site safety protocols, including the use of required PPE such as a Type II hardhat with 4-point chinstrap and cut level 4 gloves.
Support a culture of reliability by maintaining consistent attendance and being prepared and ready to work each scheduled shift.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of relevant electrical experience in commercial or industrial construction.
Ability to run GRC (galvanized rigid conduit) and other rigid conduit, including cutting, bending, threading, and installing conduit.
Proficiency in pulling electrical wire through conduit and raceways.
Ability to terminate I/O devices and perform PLC-related terminations.
Comfort working at heights and from scissor or boom lifts.
Ability to use basic hand tools required for electrical work.
OSHA 10 certification, or willingness to obtain it prior to starting.
Willingness and ability to complete internal safety and scissor lift online training before reporting to the site.
Reliable attendance and the ability to consistently show up on time for scheduled shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working as an electrical apprentice or journeyman in industrial or commercial environments.
Experience performing temporary wiring and installing temporary devices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints with minimal supervision.
Experience operating scissor lifts and boom lifts.
Familiarity with conduit bending and terminations in industrial settings.
Comfort using mobile applications for time, training, or site-related communication.
Willingness to complete any additional client or site-specific safety trainings as required.

Work Environment
The role is based in an industrial construction setting, primarily within an older building where electrical contractors typically perform repairs and upgrades. The standard schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work frequently takes place at heights and from lifts, and you will use equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts when required. The environment emphasizes strict safety practices, including the use of a Type II hardhat with a 4-point chinstrap, cut level 4 gloves, and appropriate fall protection harnesses. Basic hand tools are sufficient for most tasks, and the employer provides necessary harnesses if you do not already have them. You will also use mobile apps for training completion and safety compliance before arriving on site.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.
