WOCAP Co-Teacher / Family Service Worker (FSW) in Lima, Ohio
WOCAP is looking for a Co-Teacher/Family Service Worker (FSW) who is passionate about early childhood education and supporting families. This role works closely with the Teacher to create a positive classroom environment while ensuring children and families receive the services they need.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Teacher with implementing curriculum, classroom instruction, and daily learning activities
- Support development of weekly lesson plans and classroom planning
- Help coordinate and facilitate individual services according to CDS Performance Standards, licensing regulations, and WOCAP policies
- Connect families to health resources, provide follow-up support, and help remove barriers to needed services
- Transport families to appointments when required
Communicate challenges to supervisors in writing and ensure follow-up within established timelines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be willing to enroll in a CDA program to obtain certification
- Valid Ohio driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and access to a privately owned vehicle preferred
Ability to use email, internet, and program-specific software for reporting and communication
Compensation Pay rate depends on credentials and will be discussed during the initial phone screening.
