Kelly Services Maintenance Technician in Lima, New York

2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

$27–$30 per hour | Full-Time | Lima, NY (Near Rochester)

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting and keeping equipment running at peak performance? We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift production team in Lima, NY.

If you have 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience and strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, team-focused company where your work directly impacts production efficiency and quality.

Pay & Schedule

  • $27–$30 per hour (based on experience)

  • Full-time

  • 2nd Shift (flexibility required)

  • Overtime as needed

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

  • Maintain and repair industrial sewing machines (Pfaffs and High-lead preferred)

  • Respond to emergency breakdowns during production

  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance

  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and tech packs

  • Prepare and set up equipment for production runs

  • Inspect sewing line machines to ensure optimal performance

  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and repair records

  • Manage parts and tool inventory

  • Collaborate with sewing operators and production staff

  • Follow OSHA safety standards and company quality procedures

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical & electrical)

  • Experience with production equipment

  • Ability to read work orders and technical documentation

  • Solid math skills (basic calculations, tape measure reading)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as required

Preferred:

  • Experience with industrial sewing machines (Pfaffs, High-lead)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
