About the Opportunity
Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team on the island of Kaua‘i, committing to deliver the highest quality health care to our patients.
What You’ll Do:
Provide comprehensive emergency care for patients of all ages, from infants to adults, addressing a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
Perform rapid assessments, stabilize critically ill or injured patients, and initiate life-saving interventions in a fast-paced environment.
Manage airway emergencies , including intubation and advanced resuscitation techniques.
Coordinate care for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and other emergent conditions, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment.
Collaborate with specialists and hospital teams to arrange transfers for patients requiring higher-level or specialized care on Oahu.
Annual Emergency Room visits are 24,000

About Wilcox Medical Center
Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology.
