Job Title: Production Finisher / Mold Operator
Job Description
This role combines hands-on production finishing and mold operation in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
You will set up and execute a variety of assembly and finishing functions, including insert installation, fastening, bonding, spot welding, part marking, masking, sanding, and measuring.
You will also operate plastic molding machines to produce small, high-precision parts used in aerospace and medical applications, following established procedures and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Set up and perform assembly functions such as insert installation, fastening, bonding, spot welding, part marking, masking, sanding, and measuring according to work instructions and blueprints.
Operate plastic molding machines to produce small plastic parts for aerospace and medical applications, monitoring machine performance and product quality throughout the run.
Use light power tools, hand tools, and hand and power tools safely and correctly to complete mechanical and electrical assembly tasks as required.
Read and interpret blueprints and other technical documentation to ensure parts and assemblies meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
Perform highly repetitive production and assembly tasks while maintaining focus on safety, cost efficiency, and consistent quality.
Measure and inspect parts during and after production to verify compliance with documented procedures and tolerances.
Complete all required work documentation accurately, including production records, quality checks, and any other process-related paperwork.
Follow established procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines at all times while working on the assembly line or operating molding equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production environment.
Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues with parts, equipment, or documentation to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement.
Essential Skills
Experience or entry-level skillset in manufacturing or production environments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic technical drawings.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with mechanical assemblies and components.
Proficiency using light power tools correctly and safely.
Ability to use hand tools and hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
Comfort performing highly repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to safety, cost efficiency, and quality.
Strong attention to detail when reading, writing, or completing all work documentation.
Ability to follow documented procedures and adhere to specified tolerances.
Basic experience with assembly, mechanical assembly, and electrical or electrical assembly tasks.
Capability to work effectively on an assembly line and in general labor or production roles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, production, or machine shop environments.
Experience operating plastic molding machines or similar production equipment.
Familiarity with using a tape measure and basic measuring tools for quality checks.
Exposure to aerospace or medical industry parts manufacturing is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.
Strong work ethic with a focus on reliability, quality, and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
