Job Description
The Mold Technician operates plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts and assemblies. This role focuses on running equipment, loading and unloading materials, performing basic cosmetic inspections, and finishing and assembling parts to meet established specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate plastic injection molding machines safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
Load raw materials into machines and unload finished plastic parts from the equipment.
Perform basic cosmetic inspections on molded parts to identify defects or irregularities.
Deburr, trim, and finish plastic parts to meet required specifications and quality standards.
Verify that parts meet dimensional and visual quality requirements before moving to the next process.
Assemble finished parts into final products following work instructions and assembly guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area around the molding machines.
Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while working on the production floor.
Stand at the machine or sit as needed to efficiently load, unload, and inspect parts throughout the shift.
Essential Skills
Ability to operate production machinery, preferably plastic injection molding equipment.
Basic experience or comfort with production, machine operation, and loading/unloading materials.
Strong attention to detail for cosmetic inspection and quality verification of plastic parts.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as trimming, deburring, and assembling parts with consistency.
Capability to stand or sit at a machine for extended periods while maintaining focus on production tasks.
Entry-level friendly with previous production experience preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
