The Customer Account Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs are understood, orders are executed accurately, and long-term program goals are supported. This role focuses on building strong, lasting relationships, coordinating internally across multiple departments, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction within an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining regular, proactive communication.
Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to foster loyalty, satisfaction, and repeat business.
Monitor the execution of customer orders and programs to ensure schedules are met and all quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements are fulfilled.
Coordinate closely with internal teams, including engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain, to ensure customer expectations and program objectives are achieved.
Oversee order processing and provide administrative support related to customer accounts and program activities.
Provide ongoing support to assigned accounts, monitor account performance, and prepare or present performance metrics and status updates.
Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to support continuous improvement of products, services, and the overall customer experience.
Understand client program goals and aerospace industry requirements and collaborate with customers to develop long-term strategies that drive mutual success.
Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely information sharing.
Adapt plans and approaches as circumstances change, demonstrating flexibility while maintaining focus on customer and program objectives.
Demonstrate safe work practices and maintain positive rapport, professional communication, and constructive behavior with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
Support and uphold the company’s quality policy to ensure high-quality outcomes for internal and external customers.

Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in customer service, account management, or program coordination (experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments preferred).
Proven commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage expectations and reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to address issues proactively and effectively.
High level of adaptability and the ability to adjust to changing priorities and circumstances.
Strong prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Detail-oriented approach with a high degree of accuracy in all work.
High dependability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
Background in order processing, administrative support, and general administration.
Customer service experience with a focus on building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Project management experience or exposure to coordinating multi-step programs.
Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback to internal teams to improve processes and customer experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
