Position Title: Warehouse AssociateReports To: Warehouse ManagerPay Status: HourlyEmployment Status: Part-Time_Position Summary:The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, organization, and distribution of merchandise and materials within the warehouse. This position supports the daily operations of the warehouse by ensuring efficient inventory handling, maintaining accurate documentation, and upholding company safety and quality standards. Working under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate contributes to the overall productivity and effectiveness of warehouse operations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receiving and Stocking•Bring in incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders.•Inspect goods for damage and report issues to the Warehouse Manager.•Accurately stock merchandise in designated locations.•Rotate stock as needed to maintain product integrity and organization.Inventory Control•Maintain accurate inventory records by properly checking off shipments against vendor packing slips.•Report inventory variances, damages, or loss promptly to the Warehouse Manager.Order Fulfillment and Distribution•Prepare merchandise for customer orders, or vendor returns in accordance with established procedures.•Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to prioritize workloads and meet delivery schedules.Warehouse Maintenance and Safety•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.•Operate warehouse equipment (such as pallet jacks, dollies, or forklifts, if certified) safely and efficiently.•Follow all safety guidelines and report potential hazards or incidents immediately.•Dispose of packing materials, pallets, and waste according to company policies.Team and Operational Support•Collaborate with other warehouse and store personnel to ensure timely stock movement and product availability.•Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and workflow.•Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.Qualifications and Requirements:•High school diploma or equivalent required.•Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control preferred.•Ability to safely lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.•Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse or inventory systems preferred.•Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.•Excellent organizational and time management skills.•Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under supervision.•Commitment to safety and adherence to company procedures._Working Conditions:•Work performed primarily in a warehouse or stockroom environment.•Regular standing, lifting, bending, and movement of heavy materials required.•May be exposed to varying temperatures, noise levels, and warehouse equipment operation.•Schedule may include Saturdays, afternoons, or holidays as operational needs require.
