Job Title: Welder/Fitter
Pay: Up to $32/HR
Job description:
We are seeking a skilled Welder/fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding pipes up to 120 inches in diameter, primarily using flux core welding techniques. Candidates should be able to back gouge and have experience welding boilers or pressure vessels, as these skills typically transfer well to the position. Welding will be focused on carbon steel, with stainless steel experience as a plus.
Responsibilities
Perform flux core welding on pipes up to 120 inches in diameter.
Engage in some fitting tasks, with fitting or fabrication experience being advantageous.
Execute back gouging and arc gouging effectively.
Read and interpret tape measures accurately.
Ensure high-quality welds on carbon steel, typically quarter inch to 1 inch in diameter.
Be open to coaching and development to improve skills.
Must Have Skills
Flux core - minimum 2 years experience
Fitting - minimum 2 years experience
Details
Monday - Friday
Schedule is either 5x10hrs or 4x12hrs
1st Shift | 6am - 4pm or 6am - 6pm
2nd Shift | 4pm - 2am or 6pm - 6am

This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $58240.00/yr.
