ASI is seeking Senior Data Analysts to work in Patuxent River, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and management of aircraft configuration products, including Aircraft Capabilities, Service Life Analysis Program (SLAP), Service Life Extension Program (SLEP), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Reliability Upgrades, Safety Upgrades, and Technical Directives
- Collaborate with engineering, sustainment, and program management teams to ensure configuration products meet operational and lifecycle requirements
- Provide strategic recommendations for configuration changes to improve aircraft capabilities and extend service life
- Develop and oversee aircraft maintenance and supply products to identify trends, address issues, and improve overall aircraft performance
- Conduct advanced analysis of maintenance and supply data to support decision-making during production and sustainment phases
- Assist leadership in developing strategies to enhance reliability, maintainability, and supportability of aircraft systems
- Analyze complex logistics data sets to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement
- Prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve issues affecting aircraft performance and sustainment by analyzing logistics data and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Develop solutions for reliability and safety concerns, ensuring alignment with program objectives and operational goals
- Provide strategic guidance in the development and execution of sustainment plans to ensure aircraft readiness and affordability throughout their lifecycle
- Oversee the implementation of reliability upgrades, safety improvements, and service life extension initiatives to enhance operational capabilities
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical leadership to the logistics team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Serve as a subject matter expert in logistics data analysis, offering guidance and expertise to support program objectives
Required Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of experience in acquisition related to in-service support of DoD weapons systems and experience in aviation depot, MRO, or manufacturing environments
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Additional 10+ years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience OR 15-20 years of military aviation experience may be substituted for degree
- Experience in logistics data analysis, preferably in an aircraft program office or defense environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and/or data analysis tools and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data sets
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft configuration management, maintenance planning, and supply chain operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to eff ctively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NAVAIR processes and policies
- Experience with Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and sustainment planning
- Experience in Service Life Analysis Program (SLAP) and Service Life Extension Program (SLEP)
- Proven track record of leading logistics data analysis efforts in support of aircraft lifecycle sustainment
