Job Description
As a s e n i o r Project Manager, you will guide and support project managers and team leads, ensuring that projects adhere to company and project rules. You will maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring that projects are built according to plans and contracts. Your role includes managing project budgets and financial updates, keeping the schedule current with input from the team and subcontractors, and working in line with company values, ethics, and goals. You will represent the company to build relationships and seek new business opportunities, leading and motivating the project team.
Responsibilities
Guide and support project managers and team leads.
Enforce company and project rules.
Maintain strong communication with clients.
Ensure the project is built according to plans and contract.
Manage the project budget and financial updates.
Keep the schedule current with input from team and subcontractors.
Work in line with company values, ethics, and goals.
Represent the company to build relationships and find new business.
Lead and motivate the project team.
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Oversee daily safety practices on site.
Review new project leads and assist with estimating.
Maintain ongoing coordination with subcontractors.
Supervise self-performed work.
Essential Skills
10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction preferred.
Strong experience in estimating, project management, and construction operations.
Excellent skills in organization, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with design-build projects is a plus.
Advanced training in management or technical areas preferred.
Experience with HH2, PlanGrid, Procore, and Timberline/Sage is a plus.
Work Environment
The role involves an even split between office and onsite work, with project managers remaining local and no travel required. The projects are large-scale, including automotive, distilleries, commercial, and healthcare sectors. This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
