Job Title: Robotics Programmer

Job Description

As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for service and integration of automated machinery and equipment in the field. This role involves working with cutting-edge robotics technology and contributing to innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field service and integration of automated machinery and equipment.

  • Program and troubleshoot robotics systems including PLC, Fanuc, and Motoman.

  • Collaborate with customers, primarily tier 1 automotive suppliers, to provide solutions for clipping, sonic welding, and screwdriving.

  • Participate in projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful implementation.

  • Provide innovative ideas and contribute to the development of robotic taping applications.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in robotics programming and troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency in PLC programming and automation.

  • Experience with Fanuc and Motoman robotics systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of wiring and sensors integration.

Work Environment

  • The role involves working in a shop environment with a requirement to travel 20% of the time for fieldwork, typically spanning 3-5 days.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
