This position may require personnel to wear personal protective equipment to reduce risk of exposure to work-related hazards (e.g. handling of hazardous medications).ShiftMonday through Friday; shift varies from 7:00am -5:00pm. Hours and days of the week subject to change based on the needs and growth of the department.Full remote work schedule option availableJob SummaryThis position will be in a call center providing a variety of specialty pharmacy services including obtaining prior authorizations, enrolling patients in financial support programs, and coordinating first time dispenses of specialty medications prescribed. This position will have a heavy focus on proactive refill management for specialty patients utilizing mail order services. This position will work closely with nurses, physicians, and UK Specialty Pharmacy staff to improve access to medications for a variety of subspecialty disease states.This position is eligible for a recruitment bonus.
